If you do select to update Bose firmware, you could screw yourself and need to reparametrize the module, something only VCP or ODIS can do. Also, since engine would be off, do not open the driver door as it shuts down MMI and stops the update.
I'd suggest using a battery tender or keep the engine so the car won't shutdown in between and stop the update. These are the latest versions I could find, however, there may be new ones which I'm unaware of.īoth the updates can be done in less than 2 hours. I only have these files and I've updated my 13 A6 (C7) with MMI 3G Plus and North American maps.
